Samantha Freed attended Tulane University in New Orleans, Lousiana and received a B.A. in Medical Ethics. She went on to the University of Maryland School of Law where she earned a certificate in Health Law and obtained her J.D.. Following law school, she clerked for the Honorable William O. Carr of Harford County, Maryland. She then moved with her husband to Charlottesville where she worked as an associate for Snook & Haughey, P.C. under the guidance of Lloyd Snook and Sheila Haughey. After several years of their mentorship, she and Bonnie Lepold decided to start their own firm, Lepold & Freed, PLLC.
